you could, but if you try it in multiplayer everyone who isnt the host gets flooded with some homing and lightdash error...
 
You set it in the level headers.

Act = 1

TypeOfLevel = 4099 is the default, 4227 for SA Mode on
SkyNum = 1
Weather = 0
NoZone = 0
NoSSMusic = 0
