This is the sequel of my other topic "Do You Aim?". I realized that without aming, i suck at netgames. I try to aim, but the controls are too fusterationg. Say your own controls for muselook here

W - Forward
A - Strafe Left
S - Backpedal
D - Strafe Right

Mouse1 - Jump
Mouse2 - Ring Toss
Mouse3 - Spin

I have more to it, but it kinda reveals my maneuver. =(

Back when I had a good mouse, I had left as fire, right as normal, middle as toss flag. I probably would have added more but SRB2 didn't like the 4th and 5th buttons on the damn thing.

That gives me an idea. I need to change my controls when Netgames are back on. My controls at the moment are.

arrow keys: moving
N: strafe left
M: strafe right
ctrl: shooting
/: jump
.:Spin Dash

Exactly mine, flag toss is...f.

Move Forward = Up arrow
Move Backward = Down arrow
Strafe Left = Left arrow
Strafe Right = Right arrow
Jump = Mouse1
Spin = Mouse2
Ring Toss = Mouse3
Flag Toss = Wheel 1 Up (Fails)
Mouse Sensitivity = 10
Scores = Ctrl

:V

W - Forward
A - Strafe Left
S - Backpedal
D - Strafe Right

Mouse1 - Jump
Mouse2 - Ring Toss
E - Spin
Q-Toss flag

Thats what I use now, at least.

I don't use mouselook. For some reason, I can't seem to get it configured. But these are my controls:

Triangle - Move Forward
Square - Strafe Left
Circle - Strafe Right
X - Move Backwards
D-Pad Left/Right - Turn Left/Right
D-Pad Up/Down - Look Up/Down
L1 - Spin Dash
L2 - Jump
R1 - Shoot Special Ring
R2 - Shoot Normal Ring
Start - Toss Flag
Select - Scores
Left Analog Stick Click - Reset Vertical Viewing Angle
Right Analog Stick Click - Alter Control Scheme and Change to 3rd Person View (custom script)

List of controls
Are you using a PS2 controller?

Anyways.. haven't I seen a topic like this before?

Starting from top left corner
Q = Spindash
W = Forward
E = Ring toss
R = Ring toss normal
T = Talk (Duh)
A = Strafe left
S = Backward
D = Strafe right
F = Flag toss/Lighdash
Spacebar = Jump

Mouse:
Left click = Don't think this does anything at the moment
Right click = Jump (Don't ask >_>)
Moving mouse = Mouselook/Turning

Sort of; it's shaped and plays exactly like one. I labeled the stuff the PS2 equivalents so you could know where they are. I'd rather say L2 than Button 7.

Try to configure the mouse speed and mlook speed.
I will post my controls later, posting in school =P

Edit: Well:

Move: UDLR (up/down/left/right)
Left mouse: Jump
Right mouse:Fire
Scrollball:Spindash

And that's it

Left mouse - shoot
Right Mouse - jump
Middle, scrolly thing - Mouselook
Left and right arrow keys - strafe
Up and Down - Move forward and backwards
Shift - Spin
Enter - normal ringtoss
/ - Toss flag

I don't use toss flag to often, so those controls are really comfortable for me.

Imma gonna post ma mouce buttons. Always mouselook is on. I use left to shot, right to jump, wheel to normal shoot.

I have a Joystick so its as easy as a fast paced Halo for me.
But even so it still required mastering.....

up =forward
down=backward
left=turn left
right=turn right

?/=jump
>.=spin
,<=toss ring
i seriously need to change them because i get hit alot by bots in my match games (yes bots actually have a sense of intellingence in match games if its a free-for-all game with a lot of bots)

PS2 Controller Right Analog Stick Mouse Look

In most PS2 games, the right analog stick controls the [camera] mouse look but I'm having a time configuring SRB2 to perform this way. I've experimented with JoyToKey but wondering if SRB2 can do this natively.

Basically the right analog stick can look left/right/up/down...

In the config.cfg file, I'm fairly certain it's the joyaxis_look but...

If someone has this working on a PS2 controller, can you share your config.cfg file with me please?

Thanks in advance.

There is a in-game menu for setting up the joystick axises for turning, moving, strafe and looking.

My controls are:

left mouse:shoot

right mouse:jump

w: up

a:strafe left(duh)

d:strafe right

s:down

mouse 3:spindash

I got several controls so the others are:

You know the arrows, /:jump

.:spindash

L:strafe left and M:strafe right.

Note:I'll quote this, so I can fix it.
