Chatting while online with other players

Good evening yall! Im new here to the fourms as well as the game. and I was wondering, how can I chat with other players online?

During a game you can just press the T key to chat to others. To chat with the whole community, join our IRC chat room. Just don't act dumb there. Heh heh.
