1. No. Even the sky is a ceiling. The ceiling is just the top of a sector, and all sectors have tops, no exceptions.

Wrong. It's possible. Take the floor height of the thok barrier and make it higher.
Then take the ceiling height of the thok barrier and make it just touch the floor.
