can't enter the maps

For some reason when i downloaded a map pack and tried to switch to the maps in map pack using the console its says that the maps doesnt support singleplayer. But if i do it in multiplayer it says that the maps doesnt support the multiplayer either! I'll be very thankful if somebody will help

try putting -force at the end of the command line. some maps only support certain gametypes so that might be trying to play a map that only works in tag or ctf or ringslinger or some other gamemode so when downloading map packs make sure you know what gametype they are for.
