Now, if I did that, you could just mash the fire key to create a shield of ultimate defense. And that's bad.

Maybe you could release a second version that does that, and then the people who wouldnt want the ultimate defense wouldn't add the wad. Anyway, it's not like you have to do much, just use A_RingBox to give you back your ring.
