If so, then get the Armageddon Shield in GFZ1.

What other areas are unreachable by Sonic by normal means that haven't already been covered?

Tails pick-up,they made coop for a reason. :-)

The sield is easy. The 3 super ring boxes are only obtainable by Tails. Not even Knuckles can do it. Other than that, I don't think anything in regular SRB2 is impossible to get with Sonic. (excluding things like Tails and Knuckles' emblems)
