Windows CE port?

thanks for the binaries and the information about where to put the stuff. (I didn't know it had to be in a specific folder) Also, the SDL.dll you included is bigger than mine by about 200kb. I think I was using the 1.2.6 dll version. Where did you get the 1.2.7 SDL code, btw?

Sorry about the tripple posting, it's what happens when you click too many times on submit. :wink: Too bad I couldn't just delete the posts, so if a moderator wants to, they can delete the last two posts that are now blank.
 
Guess what! I went to test the binaries that logan gave, and the program started, but only left an error log. After looking in the error log, it had stopped right before WAD initialization. I thought I might not have enough memory. I then tried my original I built before logan gave me his, and it did even more! It first popped a msgbox that said I didn't have any correct wads (wow! it now says something, I thought) but after I renamed srb2.srb to srb2.wad, it actually got to the main loading screen(the one with the Sonic Team Jr symbol). I stopped after a little and crashed.(probally because I didn't have enough space to put music.dta on my storage card) After it crashed, I went to look for the error log to see what happened, but the folder was empty! This was bizzare, because I don't know why it would have done that. Even sadder was that the files didn't exist, but the memory manager said there was no change in storage card memory availible. Could this mean the data is there, but unreadable? Just in case, I am uploading my build EXE for those who want to test it.

I tried it out iamacooldude's binary on my pocket pc, and it stopped at "ST_Init: Init status bar."

EDIT: I tried out Logan's binary and I got as far as trying to start a new game, then it crashed.
 
sorry my friend's server must be down. Which of logan's binaries did you use? logan, do the binaries need newer files than 1.09.2(the ones I used)?
 
I tried to run my binary again, and I got the same result. It would mess up my SRB2DEMO folder and then would exit. It did exit at the same spot that Ryan said it did. Will I need new files to use logan's binaries or why does his stop for me after Z_Int setting 10mb free for SRB2?

also, you need to copy the SDL.dll for WinCE to the PocketPC device

Don't be an asswipe, man, if you're not distributing EXE's then it's not thier fault they can't compile it. Why the heck would you go through all the trouble to write the code and not release it anyways?
