A random huge bump, and probably useless, but I used to not be able to use opengl, but when I got this laptop it works. This laptop has and nvidia card, and I think nvidia is well supported by linux(or vice versa) It might just be a question of compatibility(If you haven't solved it already)

I hate PC controllers, they break too easily. I have PS2 controllers with the adapter tingy, simply order a "PS2(or your favourate system) to USB adapter" at the source or some other electronics store. If they have them where I Live, they have them where YOU live.
