I need to look into it more before I assume it's the hard drive. But it did sound like it was coming from the front where the HD is. the fans in the back... so I don't know...
Yea I'm sure its my hard drive... I ran my computer with the case open (I know it wont kill me I do it all the time to... xD) and the source of the sound was the hard drive, but this doesn't happen every time I start it up only once in a great while. But I am positive its the hard drive.
I...
I'm really sad about this.
Every once in a while my computer will make this horrible revving sound upon boot up, that sounds like well... a car revving an engine...
I've heard rumors and facts looking it up that its one of 2 things.
1.) It's the fan hitting and grinding up agents something...
Two things came to mind when I saw Sonic + GTA:
1) No freakin' way this is real.
2) If this actually happened how freakin' desperate do the people at SEGA have to be?
If this actually came out then I would loose all hope in Sonic's recover. Now OBOUSILY this is fake because the...
Yea that fixed it.
The way I had my barrier it was registering that it had a back sector and it was trying to connect the linedefs to it.
Thanks for the help.
Oh... Great.
Now we have another issue.
http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv80/FLInuyashaCL/FOFOFProblem.jpg
For some reason now I get this weird linedef error...
Anyone got a solution to this?
Oh geeze... See Making FOF's Manually is easy for me. as a matter of fact I wont use the wizard because i find it more confusing when making customs and it glitches a lot.
What my issue was is that I was not giving the sectors the Separate tag...
I feel like an idiot for making such a stupid...
Just what it says.
There's a part to my level that requires me to make an FOFOF, but when I set up my FOFs, the FOF thats higher than the other just disappears as if never created.
If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it greatly.
He's right.
Go and download Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net and when you open an MP3 into it chose:
File -> Export
Then just save it as an OGG. This will cut the file size to about 1/4 of the MP3. Is very useful for making small but quality music WADs.
Hey. Sorry for the double post but I figured out my problem.
Apparently XWE is bad at compiling the TEXTURE1 lump in srb2.srb or something so I used SLumpED and I got it to work for me.
Sorry for the annoyance.
I'm having some issues with adding textures to SRB2 Doom Builder.
When I try to add it form a WAD file the texture I want shows up and i can add it as a usable texture, but when I try to load up SRB2 I get an error message that says something about a texture missing or something.
If anyone...
Well the way I see it, there is hope yet. Some of the newer ones like Sonic Unleashed where pretty good, (putting aside the transformed levels.)
I think that SEGA should go back to the original Sonic games.
Still standing today, my favorite Sonic game happens to be Sonic 3 for the Genesis. You...
Eh... The card is to old. The drivers I already have are the most up to date for this discontinued ATI graphics card.
I guess then the solution would to get a new graphics card huh?
Nope. Nothing worked...
Its still all blue... Even with the blue all the way down and the red and green all the way up...
It's not like this is a big issue. It's probably my graphics card.
Its an old out-dated Radion RAGE ATI that came in a 2002 computer.
