ok i got the pallette but everything i change on a wad. when it comes onto memory on SRB2 it says sigment violation >_>

Hi Im new To this web. but i got 1 question. I use a wad editer and creator called Slumped_07. but when i open a wad the sprites are all black and white. and when i change colour or abiltys when it comes into game memory it says: "sigment handler" i forgot the rest. but what am i doin wrong?
