Not sure if this was brought up but since 2.11, Ryder had a visual bug where certain characters (including Flare) don't go in their ball form when Ryder grabs them. There is also another effect where Ryder is allowed to walk with the character in hand in certain scenarios.
Not to mention another bug with the deprecated P_TeleportMove. This might have to do with the way Flare's catch-up mechanic works. Not too sure.
Might work to get this fixed now before they're completely broken in 2.12.
