A bit of both, really. Trying to replicate the original game’s quirks and jank as much as possible while still being able to actually play through the entire vanilla campaign and other maps legit.

I mean, I wouldn’t mind if anyone can make a better one. That’s just fairly old artwork I drew (several years ago) being used as a placeholder and even then I think it’d need to be repallet-ized if the sprites BlueRiver is making ever get done.

For some reason now playing the latest devbuilds, Mario moves incredibly sluggish when this mappack is loaded. I saw you reimplemented a lot of the old LUA but I feel one of your momentum mods is screwing with his acceleration: He can barely cover any ground anymore.
