It would probably help if I could find a instrumental of the Megaman song... I definately hear a similar rhythm in TtFatF. 0:21 to 0:40 sounds like the music in the Megaman vid to me.

I found the 8-bit version of the Megaman song. Without that Japanese guy screaming it might be easier to hear.

But anyways, maybe a few notes are similar, but that's all I can tell.

I always thought that new Plumb "In My Arms" song kinda sounded like Elec Man.

In some ways yea. But then again.....listening to songs closely now a days, you hear the same beat and the same concept and moral.
Mega Man music was original enough for their themes to be used more time but as remixes.

And so a few other bands decide to use them as referece for a new song.
