flarn2006 submitted a new resource:

Sonic 1 Lamppost Model - A 3D model for the starpost in the style of it's equivalent from Sonic 1.

I personally prefer the look of the lampposts from Sonic 1 to that of the starposts from the later games, so I made a replacement 3D model for it. I'm sharing it here for anyone else who has the same preference.

To install it, just replace the files in the "models\OBJE" folder with the ones I've provided, making sure to back up the old ones first in case you change your mind.

flarn2006 updated Sonic 1 Lamppost Model with a new update entry:

Version 1.1

This fixes a minor oversight where if the camera clipped through the blue/red ball, you'd be able to see a smaller version of the ball in the opposite color. I've also included my Blender and GIMP source files, though keep in mind the latter is somewhat messy.
