I want to say that everything that I will say below is my own opinion. sorry if it doesn't match yours.
also, I want to say the preferences of my characters in vanilla srb2:
- I don't like sonic, tails and metal sonic
- I think Amy is the most balanced character at the moment
- I love Fang
I never comment on modifications like these because they tend to make things worse. the character in srb2 is already unbalanced (and some, such as fang, are weak), so these mods make everything stronger. I will not say what these modifications are, because we know them very well.

I think that the sonic you made is probably the most balanced version.

I like the reworking of it. initially srb2 positions this character for beginners. and now it's true. although, on the other hand, it's not that fun to play for. it's just a character with a big jump.

- in fact, the processing of the Knuckles is so small, but it is very sensitive. I like her too.

- Amy turned out to be very strong. I like to bounce for her in a regular game, but here it is multiplied several times. I do not like this

oh, this moment has come. I just love Fang for his uselessness and for being the weakest character in srb2. I feel sorry for him.
- now there is no such annoying stop of the impulse. this is probably one of the most important changes that should be in vanilla srb2. I got unreal pleasure playing the game for him. although I like the pistol rework too, in some moments it is too strong

Flying upwards into a slope breaks Tails' flight for the rest of his life. I think he's stuck in an "I'm flying upward" state because it got interrupted? It also happens when interrupted by dust devils, springs, pterabytes, and simply taking damage.

I can confirm it happens with the swings in CEZ, too. Tails can't get out of it. This is all with l-reveries-v2s.pk3.

Version 3 (which is essentially already finished) will fix the issues you mentioned but I cannot release it until 2.2.10 is available to the public.

So Tails' twirl is a precision drop now! Does the dash always happen or can it be used for a quick stop?
The dash is triggered by holding spin and a direction when landing. If you let go of spin or are not holding a direction Tails will land normally.
 
I have an idea for some... er... upgrades, yeah upgrades for the Comet Dash.
If you look at Crystal Sonic's Over view, you'll see that it's reusable. I was thinking for something that combined the Atom Dash and the Comet Dash: maybe call it the "Atomic Comet Dash", or the "Atom Comet", or something, idk (I'm bad with naming moves), and the Atom Comet will have you go as high for as fast as you go after charging it. I think the console command might be atom_comet on/off (Atom Comet set to on. (or off). (Remember to credit Icezer!)
I was also thinking maybe combine the Homing Attack and the Comet Dash (maybe Homing Comet?) and the console command would be homing_comet on/off (Homing Comet set to on. (or off.))
They would also be properly able to play with each other fully be able to interact with each other, but you would have to turn on Atom Comet BEFORE Homing Comet (You may now use both the Atom Comet and the Homing Comet with each other.).
And yeah that's it. Please tell me what you think!
