Question about my wad file... (sprite_update_x.wad)

Apprealy , this wad's HUD and some CTF icons won't work on netplay, I've asked and they said it was normal on their screen.(As if nothing has been changed at all.). Is there anyway of fixing this?

That's because when you join a netgame, it adds the WAD in-game, AKA, not using a batch file.

Then the dilemma is... since HUD changes can only be implemented via batch file or launcher, and you can't try to join a game if you already have files loaded.

At least, as far as I know.

so what's happening is the wad isn't downloading and appling to other players? if this is the case I'd suggest including a map.

No, it's downloading, and it's being added, but changes to the HUD don't work if added ingame.

Err... I add the WAD file with the launcher... however they say the HUD isn't changed on their screen.

I should of mention that earlier...

Because THEY didn't add it via the launcher. They like, can't. It's a classsic delema, and unfortunately, appears to be unfixable without an EXE mod to autoload it.
