New informations about sonic movie 2

Well I think almost everybody saw this video ! It's about a chase scene that it's going to appear in the second movie !
We still don't know many things of the movie but the time will answer us
Anyway If you still don't know so watch it ^_^
yes the crew team already leaked in many places filming but we are lucky that someone recorded this this !

I didn't hate the original movie (as cheesy as it was) but the whole thing made me think of that one Alvin and the chipmunks and the Smurf movies...


Also those police cars reminded me of SA1's first cutscene.

He already been in sonic X , A1 & 2 , 2006 and unleashed !
But the movie must be in the human world what do you expecting !
If this is was an animated computer movie I will share with you the same opinion !

Sonic has always existed in a world with humans, ever since all the way back in Sonic 1. Eggman himself is human, and Spring Yard Zone takes place in a city. Casino Night Zone from Sonic 2 is a Casino, obviously, and even Sonic 3 has Carnival Night Zone which is a Carnival. We didn't really see any humans other than Eggman walking around until Adventure, but that was just building on the pre-existing foundation set up in games prior, not a grand new concept that came out of nowhere.

Okay, I didn't want to start the debate, I genuinely liked the guy who were with Sonic in the movie (which made it more like a buddy/roadtrip movie feat. Sonic the Hedgehog rather than a true videogame adaptation) but I still wanted a real adaptation of the game with South Island and the animal saving with a subtle ecological message.

But I guess that it was an "origin story" for Dr Eggman/Robotnik like many live action are about.

They actually didn't do anything other than Sonic and Eggman's origin story because they didn't want to overwhelm the casual audience. I feel like this was the best decision

You're saying that but in the same movie you see The Echidna Tribe coming from nowhere and many references to the series.

They could've had at least shown Sonic with a Chaos Emerald in his "house" or Tails with one, trying to find the others because it's the basis of the series.

The didn't overwhelm anything with the Echidna Tribe. Their sole purpose was to give a reason as to why Sonic is in the human world. Just because the movie has references to the extended series (Blue Spheres and Master Emerald on the map, for example) doesn't mean they're shoving lore in our faces. It's just subtle nods to the franchise

Also, I don't see the point in spoilering stuff. The movies been out for over a year and this thread is about the sequel

Also the references were nice (even if the Sanic meme was outdated and not that funny) but the thing is that those were always in the games since the first one...
