My WAD file won't play.

I made a LEVEL WAD but everytime I use the SRB2 Lanucher to load it, this comes up.


*A WAD file was not found or is not vaild*

And I did put it in.


Please help?

It needs to be in the same folder as SRB2.

Actually, if it wasn't, he would get a runtime error like everyone else, don't you think?

It was put in the SRB2 FOLDER.

Does the wad have a space in the name? If so then rename it, or even better add it through the console by putting inverted commas around the name.

I have the same error and I'm trying to release a mod with the levels but it will not work because of that wad and if I get past that point when I start it it says the game was interfered with and then crashed.... :(

So why'd you interfere with the game then. Always make a backup of SRB2.srb. Anyways just re-install the game if it think's it's been interfered with.

no not like that... -_- I made a new wad file seprerate from the .srb file...

Some characters can completely screw your wad's file name. For instance, spaces. Hyphons ( - ) don't, however.
