i can't switch render to opengl

hello people, so i am very new to srb2, and when i discovered that i could play with actual 3d models, i instantly opened the game to play with them, but in order to activate the 3d models you need to set the renderer to opengl, that's the problem, because the game instantly crashes when i set the renderer to opengl, and a error message appears saying the following:

opengl error: failed to acess the gpu, possible reasons include:
-gpu vendor has dropped opengl support on your gpu and os. (old gpu?)
-gpu drivers are missing or broken, you may need to update your drivers.

any help would be appreciated...

I don't think your device has the Opengl support Srb2 needs for models, I don't personally know how to update it.

Take this with a grain of salt but you either need to get a new GPU/update your GPU drivers, get a more modern OS, or even buy an entire new computer outright.
