I mean you kinda arent supposed to, but you can try using kart's info to do it yourself, as it's not based off of 2.2 at all, rather 2.1.

What for? What you need to do depends on what are you trying to port.
Small scripts might not need much editing, as there weren't many changes to the syntax from then to today.

Also note that 2.0 did not have Lua scripting.

that was already officially ported in the form of the modern sonic addon. regardless, did you get permission from spork to port it in the first place?

It may be reusable, but IMO it would be a bit rude to not at least let the author know.
Besides, if something goes haywire, you can potentially ask the author for help as they might remember how the addon works from the inside.
