The "Thing" that changes the axis (like 512 axis and 512 axis inverted) in the Nights level.. can you use these in a 2d lavel?

If not then would you be able to change the direction you run in (at least temporarily) with speed pads facing north or south?

Yes, they'll "work" in a 2d map, but not the way I think you want them to.

Yes you can make him temporarily move around using speed pads or springs. perhaps you want to have a 'multi layered' 2d level, where you can choose using diagonal springs to go to different areas.

Diagonal springs that don't face the area actually work now? o_o

I tried a diagonal spring back in the beginning of TRVZ that faced directly to the back of the camera. The only thing Sonic did was spring upwards

well, make sure you dont have an invisible solid wall blocking him there, lol (The official 2d maps have walls)

MAAAAAAAASIVE bump.. but this was never fixed, if you jump on top of a diagonal spring in 2D mode, you just spring straight up..

Could you send me a WAD that demonstrates this problem?

MAAAAAAAASIVE bump..
Really... Is it the biggest bump in the board? It's almost 2 years... Luckily he said something useful, which makes this bump "legal" XD

Anyways, I suppose that for make a 2D level you only need to change the controls of Sonic, meaning that this kind of things wouldn't happen... Or how does it work? I hate programmers who select the hard way...

It also seems diagonal springs don't send you as far if you hit them from the top instead of one of the sides.
