Consistent IRC bans... Really?

I've been banned for 4 whole times since I got back on SRB2Fun. First was a day-long ban. 2nd was a three day ban. This third time, I don't even KNOW how long! Could be a week, could be a month, could be until the next IP purger. I make one comment about how bans make me sad. All bans make people sad. I'm then banned, and marked for reason: Ineffective bans make me sad. HOW IS IT NOT EFFECTIVE?! If a ban makes someone sad, shouldn't that be a sign that it was effective? I'm not enjoying these bans much. If I could be explained as to why I'm constantly banned, maybe I could learn of ways NOT to be banned. Instead of banning me because I say "Bans make me sad," how about you go "Then don't be a retard and get yourself banned" instead of banning? I'm not seeing any consistency between that. Please, someone explain. I'd like to know.

While I agree that a ban on that was a bit unnecessary. But it would be a good idea to talk to an admin. As we can't really do anything about this.

Your ban had not expired. Your IP had changed and therefore you unintentionally evaded the ban. As for the original reban reason:

Also, ranting on the message board about being banned from IRC is more likely to get you banned from the message board than it is to get your IRC ban revoked.

Apparently UltimaXtreme was banned because he had a hand in posting furry porn on the channel and I agree with what Mystic said, ranting about it here isn't going to help. :|

Yay, blowing things out of proportions! I had a hand in "posting furry porn", as you call it, too, and as you can see, I've since returned. We were both unbanned just a day after it happened, so he must be talking about some other incident.

Actually, Inu banned me only because I left due to my provision in causing the many common visitors of that IRC to leave, as they were tired of the "furry porn" topic. When my ban was up (one-day) I said that I felt the ban was unnecessary. Or at least, that's what I was trying to get across. I lost a really long match in Monster Hunter Tri, and was fairly pissed by it. Inu proceeded to another ban, so I guess I may have been a bit of a douche. When I gained access again, I assumed (again) that I was unbanned (as I did prior to the Aug 31 ban purge) and made my statement, where at that point, I was banned by Mystic, as he states, for supposed IP swap and alleged ban evasion. Not sure why my IP changed merely a week after I got back in before August 31. It was normally a rarity that my IP switches. So fine, I may have been an ass to the SRB2 community (or at least, all the people on the IRC) but in my case, I was born that way. I'm an unfortunate ass to all the people I talk to. I rage. I'm a nerd. Say what you will, but I try not to be any of that. I understand my mistakes. I'll gladly wait out whatever bans you have on me.

You got banned from IRC. Suck it up and wait your time. You make it worse by whining on the MB.

The information was not clear. He made it sound like he was truly innocent and that the users in IRC were doing unnecessary actions. Then Mystic posted and cleared it up.

He didn't ban you because you left. You just left before he got to ban you.
