opengl lights on characters

You mean the fake dynamic lighting already in SRB2, or do you mean the hardware polygon-based lighting? I wouldn't do polygon-based lighting in a game like this. It wouldn't turn out very good.

its possible with soc edits? does that mean i can find the super sonic character stats in the source code with the soc edits? i've looked through all the dta and the srb files and never found it.

In order to make a player glow in OpenGL mode, you will have to make the player sprites glow. And by doing this, you make every player in the game glow, even if they shouldn't. Though this may not work on players because the players constantly toggle lighting or something, checking if they're super every tic... ... ... Or maybe not, I haven't looked around that section in a while.

how do you do that?
or, if the case with SOC edits, the name of the lump required for the character?
