The game thinks it's supposed to be on the desktop

A fan of this cool game since the PSP days.
Basically, I was trying to run SRB2, but I got this error message today:
attachment.php

This is the folder the game is installed in currently:
attachment.php

And here is an image of some of the files in said folder:
attachment.php

If I could get some intel as to why this is happening, it would be greatly appreciated.

Are you... using WinRAR to navigate your files?
Try using the default file explorer to execute the game, perhaps?

Also, you put the game in a spot where games shouldn't be dropped at all.
Try placing SRB2 on a folder like C:\Games
