Ms. Apollyon contacted me proposing a collab to make an SP map for the ULDC, and I accepted, so this was the result of it. No matter if the ULDC is canned or not, I dedicated to releasing this before the deadline, even if we kind of ignored it for a whole month. I would consider this far from finished [SIZE=-1][SIZE=-2](and I personally don't think it represents my current mapping skills)[/SIZE][/SIZE], but it is in a state that I am content with releasing.

As for the level itself, it's an open city level built off of a crater, and Eggman is raiding it with Crawlas and BASHes. If you know where to go, you can beat it extremely quickly. In fact, you can easily cheese it with most characters! [SIZE=-1][SIZE=-3]Please do a run, Duck.[/SIZE][/SIZE]

[SIZE=-1]The lovely billboard art was created by Eggs and I hope it adds to the charm of the level.[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]A Star Post has been added[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Crumbling FOFs now have a fitting particle effect rather than the default[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Optimized linedefs in some areas
    [/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]The tallest building now isn't climbable by Knuckles[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Half-light blocks added to death pits and the manhole[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Slightly more buildings[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]More monitors and rings around the area[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Linedefs near the beginning now block enemies[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]More grassy areas outside of the road[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]More road hazards[/SIZE]
  • [SIZE=-1]Added a lovely colormap to the entire stage

We really need some building textures that don't look archaic.

That being said, nice level, just a bit too flat, due to most of the gameplay taking place on roads and highways.
 
damn i REALLY liked the map, there isn't many in city levels so i'm glad to see more of them, keep up the great work, and mayby make a hangout city in the future ;)
 
Well classic games don't have many city-themed levels for a reason.


I like those even if some building looks more like 2.1 than 2.2.

I never tought Orbital Hangar's music would fit in this well with a ruined city
also this is very fun
