This is awesome, but the SRB2 Kart models are not showing. I have GR_MD2 1, so how do I get them to work? Edit: I was using default

Are you running the game in OpenGL mode? Double-click "SRB2Kart (OpenGL).bat" to run it with OpenGL. 3D models don't work with the default software renderer.
 
I see there's a picture of Super Sonic Kart but it's not on the game is there a specific wad of it?

Inazuma's animations are a little bugged - Inazuma's Electric Shield doesn't go around him, it instead appears on one side (curved)

I wanted to make things easier so no one has to spend a lot of time removing the / in the dat.

i think what he was doing was making it to where if someone is combining md2s with your pack he thought it would make it easier to just copy/paste the md2.dat here... for some reason, even though you can just copy the md2 dat from the other md2 pack and just past it in the saturn md2.dat... defeating the purpose
 
V5.5 Metal Sonic revamp and Knux polish.​

SRB2Kart?
So the obvious change here is that I am moving all SRB2kart-related models to their own thread to really cut down on the confusion, and this will allow me to post more frequent updates to vanilla or Kart. Look for them when they are up later today. I'll edit the link in here

Other than that, the main meats of this update are Metal Sonic and Knuckles.

Metal has gotten a complete new head and textures to better match his intended design, rather then R's "interpretation."He's also gotten some nice animation updates to match Blade's sprites more, still some R inspiration as well though. Knuckles' head was also completely redone with it's textures, overall just more polish and will look tons better in colors other then red.​

Oh yes that moist Metal Sonic

Finnally he's looking good, I really didn't like the older one, I kept frankensteining the MD2 folder to use logan's Metal since it looked a lot better. Now this is much better looking "even lower poly" MSonic.

A ring model is included, and there used to be a blurb about it being too resource intensive/not Saturn-like anyway in the forum post as well as a bit describing how to enable it. It's in the object folder, so if you copy the line from one of the other objects and replace the code with RING instead of say, POSS, you get the ring to show up.


On another note about rings, little bit of an odd request but for the people who don't care about framerate or basically aren't running SRB2 on a toaster, could you make some match related models, perhaps not the panels but the rest of the ammo rings for example?
