Is this what they mean by Undertale-like mechanics?

That being said, this boss really needs a sense of increasing difficulty. I've encountered the "gimmick" lasers once per fight, and the only sign that I'm getting ahead in the fight is that one spin attack.

I know you've simply just ported an old boss, but I felt like sharing my two cents.
