Which game/character has the best looking sprites to you? You can post an image of one if you like. I would say I like the SNK vs. Capcom sprites, and I also like the JUS Goku sprites. (Jump Ultimate Stars Goku) And I like the Itachi sprites from NC3. (Naruto Ninja Council 3. If I can find any sprites I will post them here.

LttP is what again? But the SRB2 sprites re just average to me. Probably because they aren't high-res like SNK vs. Capcom, but that is just my opinion.

Also, I like the Cless Alvin, Zero, and Megaman sprites from the SSMB mod in MUGEN.

Super Metroid has amazingly detailed sprites, but nothing compares to Terra's hair blowing in the wind in FFVI.
 
Belive it or not, I actually like sprites with animation.
Capcom is my choice, they make nicely animated games.
 
Guilty Gear, Street fighter Alpha series, Gundam Battle Assault 2, and Paper Mario.

Real time RPG that came out for the PS2 at the end of May. Sposed' to be very good.
 
Having not yet played Odin Sphere, Valkyrie Profile has some pretty damn godlike sprites. The amount of animation in there is just nuts.
