you have to be in OpenGL mode, and inside OpenGL settings is the option to turn on shaders.

controls dont work! instead of simply swapping the inputs around it makes them seemingly happen on top of one another? can't really tell but my camera and I jerk around in nonsensical directions

please dont hate me for using a controller

this is a known problem with simple mode, unfortunately it only works properly in standard. It has nothing to do with the controller itself, just the control mode.

This ambient lightning broke the model rotation. turning off ambient lightning will fix the problem

I wonder if this could be modified to work only when the player is flipped?

possibly as a separate version.
