The Splatocalypse is upon us! It's Chaos versus Order on this hyperfresh battle arena!

  • Removed the boost pads on the half-pipes
  • Made half-pipes easier to climb
  • Added Community Ads and special miiverse-style drawings
  • Hyperbombs! Activate them by hitting them with items or touching them under the effects of Grow or Invincibility. Getting caught in the blast will spin you out.
  • Pearl's special Princess Cannon! When one minute remains in timed matches, harness the power of her voice to obliterate the competition! Getting caught in the beam is an instant SPLAT! The Princess Cannon can also activate Hyperbombs.
  • Several other issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
-v0.9.1: Second release, various changes as recommended to me:

  • Greatly optimized map by merging certain sectors and getting rid of a few FOFs
  • Tweaked mobjscale (from 100% to 88%)
  • Raised spring panels to keep mid accessible with the new scale
  • Reduced the campability of two spots on the map
  • Brought the Perch backwards to give more distance between it and the water
  • Widened a few ramps
  • Added ambient sound effects
  • Changed the normal music from Acid Hues (Live) to Shark Bytes (Live)
  • Several other issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.
-v0.9: First release of the stage, nothing special going on.

Welcome to releases! Though, I do reccomend you use mobjscale in the level header to mess with the scale as the map seems awfully small and claustrophobic for Kart. It's why Mario Kart 8 Delixe made its Splatoon map feel so big in comparison to the source. Tweak with mobjscale a bit, and it should feel much better without having to mess with it in Zone Builder some more. I'd give you a map that uses mobjscale as an example, but unfortunately, I can't remember which maps in the game use it...

Balloon Panic uses mobjscale. Remember, you need to multiply by FRACUNIT.

Example: 3*FRACUNIT/4
This is 3/4 scale, or 75%. If you need it bigger, I'd recommend starting with 3*FRACUNIT/2, or 150% scale.

I'm getting occasional errors with this addon loaded, even on other maps:

Ah, I see what the issue is - they don't check for this first:

if not server.deli_senpaiidol then return end

That way, if server.deli_senpaiidol is undefined, it'll ignore it.

Oh wow! It's awesome to have this as a battle stage, but it seems the special music for 3-minute matches becomes bugged when Battle Plus is in use in that the stage tries to call Ebb & Flow at the 2-minute mark rather than the 1-minute mark, and sometimes Ebb & Flow may play at the start of a match when it's not supposed to.
