Indeed, it only caused damage in big computer networks, since it's supposed to block all accounts except the admin that can't be blocked.
Since most PCs only have the admin account, the virus can't do shit to them.

Thats not what I mean. I mean, What should I AVOID?

Hmm...

1. crack sites (keygens)

2. misspelling a web address...

3. downloading crap from somewhere you don't know (torrents?)

4. cracked games/steam cracks

5. ...downloading freeware/even more crap...

6. BE CAREFUL WHICH LINKS YOU CLICK ON IN GOOGLE! (that's a killer)
looked for nintendogs cheats for my sis, and got a iFrame attack, and a trojan that killed our 3 PCs in less than 2 days!

7. update your Anti-Virus and Malware removers (ex. Spybot, etc.)

8. DON'T OPEN EMAILS FROM PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW/HAVE ATTACHMENTS (until the infection is over and us people have a patch.)

[spoiler:548e1a93c4]9. For all those pervs, PORN.[/spoiler:548e1a93c4]

I think that's all for now.

I came across a very handy page that can show you whether or not you may have the Conficker.

Link

If the first three images are broken, you may have the virus.

Actually... There's the point that it's not that bad. It was found in the Ohio Chronicle on April 1st, 2009 saying that all it did was turn videos on Youtube upside down.

How exactly DO you catch the sup--I-I mean conficker virus?

You were about to say Supervirus, weren't you?

The personal computers are safe. It's the big companies it's probably going after.

I don't think Conflicker C attacked Youtube. It gave the option to use the normal format.

You tube did that on propose for April fools...Try adding "&flip=1" to the end of the address bar after you watch a video.
