Help with custom title screen.

I assume you will use SLADE3, and that you are talking about the graphics (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, the wing logo, etc). It would be best to use the PK3 filesystem. Make a nested folder called Graphics/Titlescreen/Alacroix/ and make some graphics using the ones from srb2.pk3 as a base (don't accidentally overwrite srb2.pk3 though - I did that when attempting to make 4:3 back in the 2.1 days with player.dta.) You will need a 1x scale version, 2x scale version, and 3x scale version. It'll take a bit of drawing.

If you are talking about the background for the title screen, just make a MAINCFG lump in a wad and add the line "TitleMap = XX" with XX being the map number (Vanilla SRB2 uses MAP99 for this). Keep in mind the background will continuously rotate until a map or demo is started.

All of this was taken from either general knowledge or the wiki.

With the titlemap you can also use an alternative view point to move the camera to face whatever you want.

What if the background you want is the old one that just scrolls and doesnt rotate?
Thanks for asking! You can create an "old" title screen in 2.2 simply by setting TilePicsMode to "Old", or in some cases, "User". "Old" uses the "TITLESKY" lump, whereas "User" can have an animated background under any name set by TilePicsName (at most 6 characters, followed by numbers from 00 to 99, in decimal.)
All of this, and more, is documented on the Wiki. If you ever need more help, it will give you what information you may be missing.

Step 1: Make a Titlemap.
Step 2: Make a high resolution logo.
Step 3: Replace everything else with a blank graphic. (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Etc.)
Step 4: Say "hires" 2401 times
