I don't think I'm gonna try to do knuckles.

Shouldn't runs of users who get less than a certain percentage of frame rate be disqualified? If you watch the sonic speedrun, it's slowed down by at least 30%, making it much easier to achieve a flawless speedrun.

Unless it's just fraps that slowed it down. But tails' run is normal...

Man, these records come in quite fast, It can be hard keeping track of everything... Don't mind me if I make a few mistakes. Just kindly point them out and they will be fixed when I have a chance to update the post. Don't take offense if it's been a while and the leaderboard hasn't been updated, it probably means work has yanked me offline... Or I'm sleeping... or something in Real Life came up and is keeping me away.

Well, not necessarily. Perhaps he really did achieve that time by normal means, but just has an older computer and/or a sub-par video recording setup. Or it could merely be a technical issue like fraps slowing the frame rate down a bit, meaning the video quality isn't as good and/or runs at a required minimum FPS that one would ideally like. Not everyone has computers that have the capability of producing perfect High Def-quality youtube videos. I know I certainly don't... that's why when I set a new record, I just simply upload the .lmp to my Ripway account, and post it here for others to download and view in SRB2 at their leisure.

I'd give this one the benefit of the doubt unless someone can prove that it was modified to make it beyond the capabilities of a human player. When in doubt though, you can always leave your old record up, so that if a certain record is judged to be disqualified for whatever reason, your record will still be there.

I'm not the one being the judge here; I don't have enough time to look over all the records submitted (though I do give most of them a view either on youtube or in SRB2). I just post the best times up. And posts can always be modified if things change (records broken, disqualified, changed, new records, etc.). My post on the top of Page 5 has been edited nearly 30 times.

Also, I'd like to keep the leaderboards varied with users if possible. If it becomes apparent that one person/a few people breaking all the records, it probably needs to be looked at. I'd like to see as many names on the leaderboard as possible to make this more of a community project rather than just a handful of really good SRB2 players... But that's just my opinion on the matter.

Technically, the records I posted on Page 5 aren't the official records anyway, it's just that the author of the topic hasn't updated the leaderboard on the initial post in quite some time; most of the records there have either been broken or set.

When I was using fraps I recorded it with two different frame rates.. When I was watching sonic's run it was more faster so I used movie maker to slow it down. That's the reason why sonics run looks so slow.
If you want me to I'll just record it again.

I'm pretty sure its much more harder and frustrating when the game runs much more slower.
