Since yesterday I have tried to play online but when it's downloading the mods from the server it always gets stuck, I tried letting it be for an hour but it didn't work, is there something I'm doing wrong?

Either doing nothing or watching you sleep.
Probably it's your Internet... That happens me sometimes, i'd recommend you to wait until it loads when it gets stuck.
