Hello all, this is my first submission after lurking into the forums since 2013.

I think there's a lack of Hide & Seek / tag maps so I've decided to make one.
This map is a scaled up replica of my own bedroom, it is made so that you can hide in most corners and escape from the seeker!

First of all, thank you! This is very exciting for me!


I know, I'm completely aware of the framerate; one work around it is using OpenGL if you have a dedicated graphics card (not necessarily discrete). I might re work it and make a stripped-down version with less FOFs (especially nearby the desk) to make it more stable without sacrificing too many hiding spots. Sadly I've discovered the existence of "Culling Plane Linedef" way too late during the development.


I'm always open to suggestions and ideas :)

Especially the curtains leave me wondering how you did it.
Reminds me of the dinosaur house levels in Fur Fighters, awesome.

The curtains are made with a simple intangible translucent FOF (Linedef 221) with a colormap filter applied to it.
 
Your room is a mess. Like, seriously, there are so many rings on the floor AND in the air.
