Srb2 wads

I have been trying to make a wad so can somebody give me advice, tips or directions?

For making a wad i recommend you to use SLADE3 which i find it perfect for modding srb2, Here's the link for the download page : https://slade.mancubus.net/index.php?page=downloads

Note : Don't install the beta ones since they are a wip (work in progress)

After you open Slade, you should see a palette selection in the top right corner, click on it and choose "Sonic Robo Blast 2" the other one that has legacy is for karts only (unless you want to make a wad in previous versions of srb2). On the top left corner it should appear an option to make a new wad, you click on it and it will appear a tab where you can drag the files you want in the wad and save it anywhere you want on your computer. I gotta ask, what are you planning to make? Soo i can give you more instructions, you don't need to say it here if you want, you can send me a private message and we can talk through there (that it you can share your Discord name and we can talk there).

As well as what Raf linked, there is also a dedicated editing section of the board for questions or progress showcases.

So I am trying to make a custom character.

This is the wrong place to ask. We have Help and Editing sections on the forum, as well as a Discord, but the best place to start would be the wiki - http://wiki.srb2.org/ - please refer to there before asking more questions. If you do have any, please start a new topic in the appropriate sections of the message board, or on the official SRB2 Discord.
