sth-sonic.wad very early alpha [Next-Gen Sonic]

I wanted to wad and when I saw nobody did the Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog I thought I would do that as my first wad. things I need to finish:

1. Get rid of the orange around Sonic
2. complete animations
3. done

I'v noticed that his color messed up for some reason. If you look at my avatar and the life counter for sth-sonic the life counter is grayish and has a massive loss of color from it.

You're right it is messed up. Anyone else want to volunteer to help me get the background off? It's quite hard with how it's fading.
 
tiny update

I appreciate that your help cheese as I'm trying to get rid of the backround too. The update is I'v changed the Sonic standing to grinding to actual standing. When I fix the standing so that is dosen't have a backround I'll release that. Planned releases:

Next release will be when I get rid of all the backrounds or when someone else gets rid of all the backrounds. And that will be the last release until I finish getting all the sprites and animations done.

I'm also going to have Sonic's color fixed in the final release.

I've done this in some minutes.
It's not that hard with tools like GIMP or Photoshop that can select contigous regions of similiar colors that you can then delete.
Do it yourself, anyway, nobody is going to do it for you.
I don't want to be harsh, but people needs to work on things that they want themselves, not always letting others do the dirty work for them.

I have been doing it. Cheese offered to help but I'm also working on the backround in sonic. Proof that I'm working on it:

I'v completed a few others (only some of the sprites not the animations) and right now I'm working on the standing.

Well I'm familiar to photoshop but what's GIMP?
 
Gimp is a free photoshop type program. Shadow5561, in those sprites, that you took the background out of, you also took out part of Sonic's left hand. This makes him look like he has lego hands.
 
Is this wad nearly finished? because this alpha sonic is my favorite and will be even better without the backgrounds. :D

I like it too! This will be another 3D Sonic like the SADX-Sonic & SH-Sonic.

Working on this has slowed down quite abit, I have a 3D game to work on and the Jak and Daxter mod for SRB2 so it's hard to squeeze this wad into my schedule.
