Depends on what you mean by Demo.

I don't know. It couldn't be that recorddemo console command the help function told me about.

Personlly, I don't know, and I would like to know.
I use FRAPS to record video.

I normally use FRAPS for my demos. Personally, I wouldn't want to have to download a demo, extract it, and have to play it through SRB2, which may glitch up anyways.
