Is the NiGHTS wiki page correct?

I want to do a NiGHTS map so I went to the wiki to see the page about doing a level for this mode.

Here's the link --> https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/NiGHTS_tutorial

Reading the first note, it looks like this page is even outdated for 2.0 and I can't use the example maps as guides because they are for 1.09.4 I believe.

So here's the question: Does NiGHTS maps still work like this or there have been some changes?

Some new features were added to NiGHTS in 2.1, but generally this should still work. The example maps are for 2.0.

Multiple mares don't.

They were changed to use extrainfo (thing type + multiples of 4096) so that they could easily be separated and filtered in map editors, which makes editing multimare maps much easier. (It also means less angle calculations.)

Thanks!

I did a small test level but Super Sonic doesn't follow the path, and his controls are just very messy.

I think the track is built correctly. The problem may be the level header since the NiGHTS HUD doesn't show up.

Here it is by the way:

Level 6
levelname = NIGHTS TEST
act = 0
musicslot = 140
skynum = 55
weather = 2
typeoflevel = Singleplayer, NiGHTS
nextlevel = 7
nozone = true
subtitle = Test Map 6
Grades1 = 25000,30000,32500,35000,45000,75000
UseNiGHTSSS = TRUE

"Grades1" and "UseNiGHTSSS" have been copied from the zones.dta MAINCFG, don't know if I need them.

I found out the solution!

My NiGHTS map finally works!

In case someone has the same problem (which I doubt), here's the answer:

My problem was this one -->

https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Ideya_Drone said:
This Thing should only placed in NiGHTS mode; everywhere else, it will end the level upon being touched. Similarly, the level ends upon being touched if there is no Ideya Capture on the track. If touched outside of NiGHTS mode but with a corresponding NiGHTS track, touching this will cause bizarre camera angles and control problems.

Then I knew the problem was in the level header. The "typeoflevel" entry was wrong.

Everything must be together, without spaces.
Instead of "typeoflevel = singleplayer, NiGHTS". This is the correct version: "typeoflevel = singleplayer,NiGHTS"

And here are the results. beautiful, isn't it? ;)
