Replacing Sonic.plr sprites.

Many of you might know the terrible copyofsonic.wad and how it replaces sonic's sprites. Well when I played that wad, i wanted to learn how to replace sonic's sprites like the copyofsonic.wad. So, whoever reads this thread, please tell me how.

You replace Sonic's sprites by replacing copyofsonic.wad's own sprites. Then you rename it, and release it.

Copy Sonic.plr, Edit copyofsonic.wad so that its sprites are different but still named the same. Rename the whole WADfile

Ok, thanks for telling me how. Wait, do you guys also know how to do the same but with tails and knuckles?

You can't. Sonic's sprites are for the actual thing. But the thing changes its sprites when selecting a character. So Tails and Knuckles cant have their skins changed. Youll have to create a new wad. Also, when you add sonic.plr, nothing happens right? WHen you add tails.plr/knux.plr, they will be added as a new character since they have an S_SKIN.
