Characters
Cassie(Dragon Tales): From the old PBS hit that aired in '99, comes Cassie, the first character I had modded into game with some help of some sprite artists. Cassie, while she may not be fast, has decent moderate weight to help her not get bullied around by other racers as much. She tries her best even if she isn't all too great, but she's a smart girl that loves to read.

Ranger(Quake 1): Two decades of traversing dark, murky, and grimy locals of the Dark Realm and Elder Worlds, the Slipgates have brought our wondering soldier to a new realm... with karts? Confusing, but nothing this old man can handle. All those years of bunny hops and rocket jumping will come in handy. Ranger is fast and doesn't take to long to recover if you knock him down, he'll quickly make up for it.

Scarlette Unmire(Original series: "Witch Trigger"): "Firebolt! Kaboom! Death Max!!" Uber-Witch of the Agnis realm, Scarlette hails from a universe tied to universes in lore. She had recently finished a long trip across her region to stop a sinister scheme, but you can't get to know that story unless you wanna get to learn more about it in the upcoming graphic novel series itself. Scarlette takes after like her father who once was a broom racer, she's a fast driver with a bit of a one track mind, just don't get on her bad side or you might find yourself on the receiving of a Death Max spell!

Virtua Formula(Virtua Racing): A classic from one of the high points of the local arcade. It only ever had any other cameos within a lackluster home port of Outrunners, it's arcade version being far superior. In the original game, it had no actual drifting, so don't expect your cornering to be too great most of the time, but if there's just straight road ahead, your going to zip right past your competition.
