Like the 1.09.4 Silver did?

Anyways, I was thinking of Silver to jump a bit (maybe an inch(?) higher than the normal jump) higher and do a slow fall.

1.09.4 silver had float, and one of them had a wierd psychic SOC.

And... Regular jump is the max height. The only way to make him jump heigher would to have multiablity set to 1 (jumpheight for ones who float/slowfall is increased), but unfortunately he won't be able to spindash at all, meaning he can't get past a lot of areas (and make ERZ1 almost impossible...). The Anti-homing is fine the way it is (but kinda buggy; I think I can fix on my own >_>;;) and his spinfloat doesn't have any problems, really.

How this ability would work with match mode? Maybe he can be unshootable when he's performing his ability or make the rings of the opponents around him disapear or even push the players alway from him.
 
No, a physic power would do something like..... turn the thrown rings in a certain range of area around him in normal rings and pull them for him, or something like that.
 
Um, you can't really do things like that with SOCs IIRC... >>;

If you want a Silver that'll be some kind of match mode demon, wait until SRB2 supports LUA scripting for abilities or something along those lines, which yould be a few years from never. :
 
Wow, I just took my first look at the sprites. Well done!

I wouldn't recommend giving him any fancy super special ability in match though. Redring reflection/transformation sounds pretty overpowered to me...

Uhm... that is actually not quite true. In case of doubt some new ones just have to be implemented! :p

A_SetObjectTypeState for example regarding psychic powers of any kind might come in handy to make enemies, players or other objects within a certain range perform some actions.
However, to make all kinds of enemies (, missiles, ...etc.) within range perform special actions you would a) have to make extensive use of A_DualAction or b) I would have to create some sort of A_SetObjectClassificationState soc action thingy...
 
As much as this wad, WIP, whatever seems good, I dont find it too srb2-styled... Like probably one of the 3 existing silvers you mentioned.
 
A Psychic Wave that throws enemies and reflects projectiles would be interesting. However, the projectiles would need to be closer to you to be reflected. The enemies should take damage after hitting a wall.

yeah. in sonic 06 it looks like he jumps higher and since he's a telepath then he probably would jump higher...
