To me that just leaves the SOnic category and goes to general furry art. Then again...if more people did that, there wouldn't be such a fuss on the message boards.
 
You know, I have an idea on how you can make it less clone like.

You said he is a thunderhog, right? Why not replace the quills with thunderbolts that move while he runs? That would make him a BIT more unique. If you want him to float, then when you seperate all of the graphics, move his sprite high up on the blue background. I noticed that doing that made my Tails Doll wad float, and even skip on shallow water...

Everyone skips in shallow water. The sprite placement has nothing to do with it.
 
Well, I guess you can call me an idiot then...

Oh, and I am serious about that. Why didn't I ever try to do that with a character like sonic?
 
Thanks, but for now, I have exams coming so i've stopped it untill i finished them. Revision is more important than Wad making especially if you need the grades to go to collage.
 
Well, probably the reason he is making this is because being a yellow sonic is a bit boring, so he made one to look like him, and he doesn't want to be selfish and not give the wad out, instead, he does. Big surprise there.

I always being tails because i have trouble with sonic when i'm not use to the game. When i played it, i was more stable to control sonic. and like you said, i got bored of sonic so i had shadow instead because he was another hedgehog, i got bored with him too quickly because he had nothing more or less than the sonic wad... so yeah... basically.
