I fail here, I pronounce it like it would sound in Spanish XD

Sik, I am pretty sure it is pronounced the same in English as it is in Spanish.

Yea, Sik's post had me trying to pronounce "wad" in Spanish, seeing if it would sound any different. It doesn't unless you have a gigantic accent.

Wod, with an 'aw' sound.

I don't know if this is just the English way of this but, when you say:
"Wad of cash"
You are meaning a lot of it. But "Wod"? Never seen that one before.
"Wod of cash" <---- Doesn't look like it sounds the same does it?

Often "a" in English sounds like "e" in Spanish, watch out. Through if you know how to read Japanese romanji, it uses the same vowel pronounctuation as Spanish.

According to the dictionary, "a" in Spanish sounds like the "a" in "father".

True, and that's the way I pronounce WAD (the 'a' like the one in father), 'cause I'm Spanish (from Spain, not from mexico or somewhere else) and I don't think there's another way to pronounce WAD here.
