Srb2 netgames are slow

Anyone know how to make your ping go down in Srb2 netgames, for some reason as of late servers i usually have 60ms in just spike up to 180ms and then i get input delays
 
While running srb2, i recommend to close some programs that use Internet, and if it isn't enough you can always change the resolution to a smaller one as it seems to lag less.
 
yes sometimes it can be your internet connection , low or high ! too as Rafeal said when i play online and open google and search something my ping become over 500ms !
but i say that your internet connection must be good and strong !
plus if the hoster of the server his country far than your it can be a reason !
and sometimes the hoster have a bad internet so if you have a strong internet in this case you will have lag + low ping
i tell you what i know ;)

Netgames are getting slower

For some reason Netgames are getting slower than before, literally getting down to the point where every second i lag despite the fact im playing the lowest ping servers possible. Its weird since this only affects srb2 and none of the other games i play dont slow down at all.
 
its the good old netcode we had for years
theres really nothing i can say ecept play with a good and consistent conection
