I don't know if this is the right place, but...

I remember a while back somebody made a SRB2Wii port. Despite how badly it ran I actually kinda liked it.

I wanted to know how can one port SRB2 to a console/handheld (or any game for that matter, but mainly SRB2)? I want to look into making a port for the Nintendo Switch. Might be very hard, or impossible, but who knows. Worth a shot right?

Someone already did it.

I don't mean to crush your hopes but to port a game to a different system requires knowledge of both the game's source code and the specifications of the console you want to port it to. Plus, you need to know exactly how to compile said source code for that system.

Nevertheless, if you're up to the challenge, go for it. I'm not stopping you.

Wow, that's a bummer lol. AndI know that it's far from easy. But, I am still up for the challenge and I know everything isn't going to be handed to me. Are there any tutorials on how to port games to consoles using the source code?

Also, I peeped that people have ported emulators to the XBone using the Dev Kit.I don't know much info on that, but would it also be possible (and easier) to port it to the Xbox One's Dev Mode??
