Are there any .mid files of the SRB2 OST for download?

You will have to extract them yourself using XWE or another lump editor.

They really don't sound great when being directly extracted

They're MIDI files. They really don't sound great anyway. :/

And directly extracting them provides the best quality available, if I recall correctly.
I extracted the MIDI files meself for private use on a GMod-style game I play. (Named Sandbox) Made a SRB2-based world on there, complete with music. :D

Some midis will not sound the same as playing it in Windows without modifications (EX. IPZ2 in srb1 remake plays more instruments in Windows than in srb2). I am unsure if there is some way of making it so it plays the same way as SRB2 does.
