(SRB2 Kart) spectator mode server

Hello partners!. When a player accesses my server, he automatically enters the race. Is there a way to access Spectator mode instead of running? I would like players to choose character and name before entering the races.

This is something that only happens whenever someone joins an empty server—it's only the first person that will automatically enter the game, everyone else that joins afterwards will be spectators.

There's no way to change this behavior as far as I'm aware, but IMO it's fair to assume that the first person would have enough time to spectate and pick their character while waiting for another player.
