SRB2 not saving?

I tried looking at the wiki for an explanation. But I'm still a bit confused.

I was playing last night. Got to Castle Eggman on a save file. Quit to title. Back at Technohill.



Can I not use any addons and save at the same time? The only addon I had was the Sprite Rotation Lua.



Do I need to choose between addons and saving?

You're correct, you have to pick between addons and saving.

There is an add-on that enables custom gamedata: ~Link~

If you make sure to add that add-on after all other add-ons, you can still save data. The data won't be shared with unmodified games, however, meaning that you'll end up with a set of "unmodified" gamedata and a separate set of "modified" gamedata.
